Redesign of the novel “Room” by Emma Donoghue. The novel contains many dark themes, but is being told from the perspective of 5-year-old protagonist Jack. This makes the story very unique, and I wanted to capture the juvenile viewpoint on the front of the book.

The design is based on my own drawings and handwriting from when I was a kid.
